There is many activities in the local area, and if you feel like an adventure, there is everything your heart desires wihin a short driving distance.
The Boardwalk and local beach
A mere 435, quite steep steps from the apartment, lies the beach and the boardwalk. Here you will find numerous restaurants, cafes and small shops, aswell as you can dive straight in the Bay of Kotor from the many piers. This is a place you will proparbly go everyday, while staying in the Kumbor apartment.
A particular favorite is Mondo, the waterpolo club, where everyone swims, fish or just have a cold beer in the sun. Se the slide show fotos from Mondo here.
Beach and boattrips
A great day daytrip, is chartering a private boat and sail through the bay and visit the blue grotto or the small churches on the islands in the middle of the bay.
For a day at a nice beach, you can get a tour boat from the pier in Kumbor, Denovici and Bousici, that will take you on a boat trip around the Lustica peninsula and drop you on a beach outside Zanjic. The schedjules change and different companys run the tours, but it is usually pickup between 0930 and 1030 and you are back at 1730. Check the signs on the boardwalk to see specifics and booking instructions.
Spa and wellness
In general there is only good things to say about the spa treatmenst in the area.
There is a large varity of treatments, there is multitude of salons to choose from, quality is high, day-to-day bookings and walk-ins is possible and best of all - it is VERY affordable.

Tramontana Beach Bar
On the road to Kotor, you come across a particulary nice beach bar about half way there, The Tramontana Beach Bar and restaurant. It has its own little beach, a pier, sometimes inflatable climbing walls or slides in the water, a small playground and a nice fishing spot with a little stream going in to the sea. The food is very nice an inexpensive as well, always great ambiance music and a guaranteed good time. This is a place you will come back to againg and again. Kotor and the Bay of Kotor
Kotor is and old, UNESCO protected venetian styled tradetown in the Boka Kotorska - the Bay of Kotor. It is considered the most southern fjord of Europe. By car, it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes, to go round the bay and back to the apartment . This also includes a small ferry ride from the Tivat side. The many small islands has churches build on them and is very uniqe for the area.
Porto MonteNegro
A luxury homeport for the biggest yachts in the medeterenian. Here you will find the biggest privaely owned yachts you have probarebly ever seen. The whole area caters to the high-end clientel and is quite an experience. Click here and go to their website.
Sveti St. Stefan
Sveti Stefan is a town in Montenegro. Previously a fishing village, in 1960 it was converted into the old town, with its tower, narrow streets, shops and small churches, remained unchanged. Sveti Stefan is an unusual and unique place not only at Montenegro or Budva's Riviera but in the whole Mediterranean. It stands on the cliff of a rocky island with roofs red like rubies. White water rafting on the Tara river
Starting point, just a 3 hour drive away on world class white water rafting, daytrip or multiple days with accomodation on the river bank.
"Tara - The Tear of Europe, most beautiful and most exciting rivers of Europe. On its 145 kilometer long flow form Komovi, Tara made an almost 100 kilometer long and 1.3 kilometer deep canyon. The Tara canyon is the second deepest in the world, just after the famous Colorado River in USA, but certainly, it is the most beautiful canyon in the world.

The Black Mountains (MonteNegro)
Durmitor National Park ia a 3 hour drive away and offers one day skiing.
This breathtaking national park was formed by glaciers and is traversed by rivers and underground streams. Along the Tara river canyon, which has the deepest gorges in Europe, the dense pine forests are interspersed with clear lakes and harbour a wide range of endemic flora.
